About Nature Knights
Introduction
Nature Knights is a team of corporate and out bound eco-adventure enthusiasts who have come togather to discover that there's more to life than regimental and monotous work routine. It was this common interest that brought some friends together thus giving birth to team Nature Knights. And over a period of time (almost two decades) Nature Knights has facilitated over 800 out bounds events.
The objective of forming Nature Knights was to provide a common platform for people with interest in Out Bound Eco-Adventures, and more importantly with a desire to contribute something back to the world. We quite believe in the old saying that goes. "The world is not for us to inherit but for us to take care of sothat we can prass it to the future generation".


Team Nature Knights
Nature Knights programmes are designed and executed by Team Nature Knights comprising of members from diverse corporate and cultural backgrounds. They include Technology professionals, professionals from HR and Accounting, Academics, Media and Sales to name just a few.
With seasoned team in corporate world plus years of exposure in various outbound and in-door adventure activities / games we believe that we have knowledge, expertise and the will to deal with any unexpected situations.






Adventage diversity in activities and locations
We organise outbound / indoor events which are not limited to a blend of trekking, mountaineering, nature trails, jeep safaris, camping, mountain biking, river rafting, team dynamics games, music, theatre, simulation and various other outdoor / indoor activities.
Out most events are orgaised in remote undisturbed environment that is aimed at providing experiential learning to both individuals and teams.

Outbound learning programmes

Human Resource Development has a strategic place in the corporate scheme of things. Human resource development decisions now actually shape the future of organisations and have the power to dictate revenue streams.
To build a robust and dynamic corporate leadership through a series of interventions based on self evaluation, team dynamics and intra-group activities. We look at strong interpersonal relationship capable of managing stress in the fast changing workplace conditions.
Designing these HR interventions is the easy part; to walk it into the work place requires building trust, ownership, communicating, influencing, and internalizing these values to achieve their business goals. Our training has been conceptualized around the experiential workshops.

Our taining schedules are generally structured into successive two / three day activity based programmes for the management staff; and to have better results it is recommended to have series of these workshops at least once every quarter.

Demonstrate Difference
Market place is gruadually being flooded with people of similar skill sets, it is important to possess and demonstrate a differential. Therefore the need for innovate. Innovate beyond the obvious idea, with regard to every aspect of life; the need to work as cohesive team, the need to raise the bar constantly for oneself, and step beyond one's comfort zone.
The concept of Playground as 'micro-world'

Nature Knights programmes are designed around the concept of playground is a 'micro world', a microcosm of reality beyond play. Micro worlds or learning labs, compress 'time and space' so that it becomes possible to experiment and to informally learn when the consequence of our decisions can be easily discussed, reviewed and imporved. There are no mistakes, only learning's. Errors and achievements made in micro world are learning experiences. Learning can only occur if one takes risks and explores.


Principle and methodology adopted in the workshop
  • The principle underlying the use of games in training is that participants learn better through doing than through reading, hearing or observing. The principle of discovery learning has become almost a commonplace in teaching and learning.
  • Simulated games and outbound experience in the undisturbed environment is aimed at providing experential learning to both individuals and teams.
  • An opportunity to go beyond their physical, intellectual and emotional limits.
  • Without any regimental rule, participants get the freedom for introspection.
  • Mutual sharing, care & concerns are considered as the tools for understanding each other through participation in the games.
  • With calculated risks, teams are provided an opportunity to develop Interpersonal relationship, mutual concern, respect and effective communication.
  • Living in harmony with nature and living off land as the basis of developing humility and empathy.
